What area does Fripp Island Valet service?
We currently serve Fripp Island Beach only.
When can I rent equipment?
Customers can rent during season, Sunday through Friday.
What accesses can I choose from?
We can set up at any access you would like. Accesses 14 – 31 follow our currents 2023 rates. For accesses 1 – 13 will have an additional $50 charge due to the much longer boardwalks.
What hours will I be able to use my rented equipment?
Our team will have you tent and chairs set up by 10 AM and will begin picking up at 5 PM. Special accommodations can be made, just reach ask!
What payments do you accept?
Fripp Island Valet accepts cash, check or venmo.
What happens after I confirm my reservation?
Our team will reach out to you a week in advance to confirm beach access, number of tents and chairs, and confirm payment method.
When do I need to pay Fripp Island Valet?
Fripp Island Valet will collect payment the 1st day of the rental on the beach. We will communicate with the customer the best time for them. If you are paying via venmo, you are welcomed to go ahead and pay beforehand.
How do I identify my rental?
Your tent will have a hanging blue tag on it with your last name printed with our logo.
What happens if there is bad weather during our rental?
During the summer months on Fripp Island, thunderstorms and high wind speeds are very common. Our team constantly monitors the weather throughout the day to decide whether it is safe for set up that day. Fripp Island Valet will be in contact with each customer to notify them if weather due to wind or thunderstorms. Wind speeds over 15 mph are considered unsafe and our team will not set up equipment.
What is your refund policy?
No rentals are applicable for refunds if no more than one day cancelled due to weather. If weather prevents more than one day, refunds will distributed and the total will be calculated on a per day basis.
Should I tip the Fripp Island Valet team?
Tips are always recommended and much appreciated. Our team consists of college students from the University of South Carolina, who work hard in the summer heat, wind and rain to make you’re your vacation is enjoyable as possible!
